February 21, 2023 (Mississauga, ON) — FHCP’s 2022 Impact Report offers a look at the unique challenges and opportunities the food, health, and consumer products industry faced over the last year. It also highlights our work with governments and industry partners to support members and help shape relevant public policy decisions.
The operating landscape has quickly changed, along with labour shortages, growing regulatory burden, an unpredictable retail environment, increasingly aware consumers, cost increases, and supply chain disruptions, all of which continue to dramatically shape all aspects of our operations. However, throughout 2022 our industry reinforced its value, as our members successfully continued to meet the expectations of Canadians, ensuring the products they rely on are available and accessible, despite navigating an increasing number of challenges.
