I have yet to come across a single website or list on social media that accurately distinguishes "made in Canada" from "made in America" brands or companies.  How you choose to shop—based on country of origin, price, value, or brand purpose—is entirely up to you.  Whatever the criteria - you deserve the facts.

If you want accurate information - interact with the national brands and grocery store-owned brands directly.  Do not rely on crowdsourced, unverified lists on social media!

A category I frequently see in these unverified lists is soft drinks—brands that are well-known and have widespread household penetration.  Did you know that every soft drink consumed in Canada is made in Canada by these large soft drink companies?  There are hundreds of similar companies, employing thousands of Canadians who make the products, transport the products, and support the millions of Canadian retail jobs that display and sell these products across the country.

In today’s emotionally charged, patriotic climate, misleading information can hurt Canadian workers employed by global companies that are committed to investing in Canadian jobs, contributing to Canada’s economy, paying taxes, and supporting Canadian farmers. These companies help build a self-sufficient Canada, something we now recognize as a vital necessity, not just a luxury.

Let's Unite, and Invite companies to invest in Canada, to Ignite a self-sufficient grocery and consumer packaged goods manufacturing powerhouse.
